Salsa Timing & Musicality Workshop
Saturday, June 28th from 2pm-5pm | $50
This workshop is perfect for dancers who want to feel more natural and confident on the dance floor while truly embodying the music. It will cover:
- Understanding Salsa Music Structure – Exploring key instruments like the clave, congas, bass, and piano, and how they shape the rhythm.
- Timing & Rhythm Training – Learning to recognize different beats and sync footwork with the music.
- Musical Interpretation – Developing the ability to express musical accents and phrasing through movement.
- Ear Training – Strengthening the ability to hear and respond to salsa’s layered sounds.
- Practical Application – Dancing to live or recorded music with guided exercises to enhance musicality.
