22nd Bach Birthday Bash
Local musicians will perform works of Bach on the commanding pipe organ of Hyde Park United Methodist Church on Sunday afternoon, March 19th. Your local Chapter of the American Guild of Organists is privileged to provide this annual event in honor of the 338th anniversary of the birth of Johann Sebastian Bach, a timeless figure in the world of classical music. You will experience a variety of works and have the opportunity to help young area musicians with a contribution to the Margaret Smith McAlister Scholarship Fund. Margaret was a muslcal legend in Tampa, serving as the organist of First Presbyterian Church for over 60 years.
