We Are Messengers - Where The JOY Is Tour - with Ben Fuller, Jonathan Traylor - New Port Richey, FL

The JOY FM welcomes in concert... We Are Messengers - Where The JOY Is Tour - with Ben Fuller and Jonathan Traylor. The concert is on Thursday, April 18th, 2024 at 7:00 pm at First Baptist Church in New Port Richey, FL. For more information and to purchase tickets, go to thejoyfm.com or call 855-223-1008. Following a successful fall run with multiple sell-out performances, chart-topping band We Are Messengers is extending its high-energy Where the Joy Is Tour this spring. Concert-goers will experience a night of live music from this award-winning band helmed by Irish-born frontman Darren Mulligan on some of the group’s best-loved hits like the multi chart #1 hit song “Come What May,” the Gold certified, “Maybe Its OK,” “Image of God,” “God You Are,” “Wholehearted” and more. The band's songs are rock n’ roll anthems, and intimate earthly psalms for messy broken people. The band's goal is to engage in conversation about the goodness of God and to put words and melody to some of the hardest things we feel as humans. This is a band that understands and loves the outsiders, the marginalized, the lost and the least. Their music is a fusion of rock, pop, and worship. The tour will also feature special guest, Ben Fuller. Ben grew up in Southern Vermont on his family dairy farm. He’d pass the time by singing old classic country tunes. The songs never stopped and somewhere between the farm and college, he picked up a guitar. Due to generations of hurt in his family, Ben struggled with certain aspects of growing up, and turned to cocaine and alcohol at a young age. When Ben abruptly lost his best friend to a heroin overdose, his entire outlook on life shifted. Motivated to change, he moved to Nashville to pursue a career as a country singer. When invited to church one Sunday, Ben fell face-first into his new-found relationship with Jesus. He began writing songs with a burning desire to share what God did to turn his life around. Today, Ben lives completely sober, while sharing his story filled with hope, mercy and grace. Also featured on the tour is Jonathan Traylor, a singer/songwriter, producer/musician, and dancer. He grew up listening to Kirk Franklin and Tye Tribbett and was inspired by their ability to infuse the culture with the message of the Gospel. He writes songs as an outlet for his emotion and to reach audiences inside and outside of the local church. His music is a mix of gospel, R&B, and hip-hop. Tickets are available for purchase at thejoyfm.com or by calling 855-223-1008.
