Tampa Kind Bike Rodeo
The City of Tampa is hosting the Tampa Kind Bike Rodeo at Copeland Park (11001 N. 15th Street) on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until noon.
This free event is an opportunity for kids and their families to brush up on the do's and don'ts of bicycle safety.
The Tampa Police Department will conduct a bicycle skills course on the park’s basketball court. Kids will learn safety techniques such as stopping, obstacle avoidance, and signaling. Safety course participants get fitted for their very own bicycle helmet, while supplies last.
Spin, a micro-mobility rideshare company, will offer adults the chance to test ride an electric bicycle (e-bike).
The Tampa Kind Bike Rodeo will also feature games, music, and access to City of Tampa resources.
