Movie Night at the Ruskin Family Drive-In
Looking for a fun, low-cost family activity? The historic Ruskin Drive-In Theatre is open and showing movies weekly — and it needs the community’s support.
Opened in 1952, it’s one of the last true family drive-ins in the country. After last year’s hurricanes destroyed the screen, they worked hard to rebuild and reopen. Attendance has dropped since summer, and this nostalgic local landmark is at risk.
Come enjoy an affordable double-feature under the stars, great concessions, and a classic “old Florida” experience.
Admission (cash only):
$7 per person ages 9+
$2 for kids ages 5–8
Kids 4 and under are free
Each car purchases a $5 food voucher, redeemable at the snack bar.
What to expect:
Two movies included
Fresh popcorn, pizza, nachos, hot dogs, candy and drinks
Dogs welcome as long as they are leashed
Bring a portable radio or listen through your car radio
Open year-round (closed Monday and Tuesday)
