What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
In this business, you don’t always get what you pay for. When a company hires out, their employees often make minimum wage and that reflects on their services to you. With Above & Beyond there are no second parties. We are family owned and operated and our high standards are exactly what you receive.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I have been working for other established companies for 20 years. In most cases, I’ve never even met the boss. I was the front man representing a business that wasn’t mine, nor would I ever receive any promotions, incentives, or benefits for a job well done. I believe there is a much better way.
What do you love most about your job?
Cleaning for me is satisfaction. I prefer “impact” jobs where I can make a huge difference for myself or the client. ThIs is one of the few jobs that can yield immediate satisfaction. I love impressing people, I love challenging myself, and I love helping someone who just needs a break.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
I replaced a house cleaner who was simply choosing her career for a paycheck and her work reflected that. You have to love what you do to do it fantastically. My client saw this and said to us “It’s so nice to have someone clean my house who actually cares about it.” She was right. We do care!
