The SmartLipo Triplex procedure eliminates fat from areas such as the abdomen, thighs, and neck. After a consultation, Dr. Noel Tenenbaum injects a local anesthetic into the treatment area to numb it. He then makes an incision into the area and inserts a laser into the incision. The laser, which has three different wavelengths, rapidly melts the fat cells in the body while tightening skin. Dr. Tenenbaum then suctions out the melted fat with a cannula.
Patients should be able to return to work within a few days after the procedure. They should see results within one week, and continue to see improvement over the next three to six months. Typically, only one treatment is needed on the area to achieve desired results.
