The new congregational year at UUCMC in Lincroft, NJ, begins with a joyful, inclusive, all-ages service focused on connection and possibility. Participants are invited to bring water meaningful to them to contribute to a communal bowl, symbolizing shared community, and a backpack for a special blessing marking the start of a new year of learning. The service led by UUCMC Director of Family Ministry Michelle McKenzie-Creech features music by Music Director Michael Rosin, the UU Singers, and the Roots & Wings Drum Choir. We’ll gather after the service for a congregational picnic. Faith Development Small Groups for children and youth will begin the following week.
