Motor City Revue Brings Motown Soul to Drew University
The Concert Hall at Drew University will come alive with the timeless sounds of Motown as the acclaimed tribute band Motor City Revue takes the stage on November 21 at 8:00 PM.
This high-energy ensemble delivers a dynamic journey through the golden era of soul, performing beloved hits from Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, and more. With rich harmonies and authentic arrangements, Motor City Revue captures the spirit and sound of Motown’s most iconic artists.
Fronting the band is powerhouse vocalist Layonne Holmes, whose commanding voice and magnetic stage presence have earned her collaborations with legends such as Jon Bon Jovi, Darlene Love, and Ben E. King. Continuing the legacy of her mother, Delores Holmes—a former backing singer for Bruce Springsteen—Layonne brings heart, depth, and soul to every performance.
