Journey For The Living 2024 Kickoff
Join us at the Livingston Oval on May 5th at 11:30 a.m. EST in Livingston, NJ!
May 1st marks the beginning of the Journey For The Living Challenge. Walk, run, or bike 15 miles in the month of May for Holocaust education.
Journey For The Living is a tribute to Mark Schonwetter, a Holocaust survivor, and his mother and younger sister, who walked 15 miles to escape their hometown in Poland to go to a ghetto where they thought they would be safe.
100% of the funds raised will go toward Holocaust education grants for teachers in the USA.
Attendees will have the unique opportunity to walk alongside Michelle Charlesworth, distinguished reporter and co-anchor of WABC Eyewitness News on Saturday and Sunday Mornings, and Mark Schonwetter, Holocaust survivor and the namesake of our foundation. At the event, we will honor Michelle Charlesworth with our 2024 Voice of Kindness Award for her unwavering and generous support of the Mark Schonwetter Holocaust Education Foundation.
