Evan Sherman
New Jersey-native and GRAMMY-winning drummer, Evan Sherman returns to the Back Deck after three years of sold-out performances. In 2025, Evan spent another year touring and performing internationally at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Paris Philharmonie, and Royal Albert Hall playing drums and writing arrangements for vocal sensation, Samara Joy who was a surprise guest at last year’s Back Deck concert. Only in his 30’s, Evan has already made a name for himself as a highly sought after sideman and bandleader of many configurations including big bands and small groups.
