WAGO We are Getting Older: Information Session on Types of Senior Living Facilities
Where to Live as You Age? When life changes and home isn’t the best solution for you, your spouse or your parents, what options are out there? Knowledge is power, so let’s look at the different types of Senior facilities and what they provide. We will examine the requirements, levels of care, services offered and some pros and cons of these Senior facilities, including Nursing Homes, Assistive Living, Independent Living, CCRC-Continuing Care Retirement Communities and options for those with dementia.
Ro Cedola, MSOT will lead this session. She has had a career as a Geriatric Occupational Therapist working in these Senior facilities and helping patients and their families make these difficult decisions.
