09/14/2024 02:00 PM 09/14/2024 03:30 PM America/Anguilla Violin & Piano Program Violinist Joel DeWitt and pianist Evan Schwartzman will give a recital on September 14, 2024 in the Community Room at 2:00 PM. The program will feature three gems of the violin/piano literature: Aaron Copland's Sonata for Violin and Piano, written during the second World War; Sergei Prokofiev's Second Violin Sonata, originally written for flute and piano, also during the second World War; and the third and final Violin Sonata of Johannes Brahms, one of the towering masterworks of the repertoire.
