Introduction to Journaling
Retired educator and Middletown resident, Marilyn Lane, will introduce journaling as a tool for getting to know oneself a little better. While journaling can be achieved by writing, drawing, painting, etc., this workshop focuses on journaling by writing. This workshop introduces journaling’s benefits and provides a wealth of ideas to springboard your writing. It discusses pitfalls known to block writing, and offers creative, fun ideas for enhancing writings. Journal samples will be available for viewing. Please bring a photograph for your possible use during today’s practice journaling session.
Limited to 10 participants (age 18+); registration is required.
