The Somerset Hills Education Foundation (SHEF), in collaboration with The Somerset Hills School District (SHSD) and the town of Peapack and Gladstone, is excited to announce the first-ever Holiday Pet Parade fundraiser, a unique and family-friendly event set to take place on Sunday, December 10th, 2023, at 12 PM at Liberty Park in Peapack-Gladstone, NJ. This special event is designed to spread holiday cheer and foster community connections, inviting families to come together for a day of festive fun with their furry companions. Inspired by the profound lessons that can be learned from our pets about love, commitment, and building relationships, the organizers aim to create a heartwarming experience that resonates with the community. The event will feature a variety of pet-centric activities and entertainment. Pet owners are encouraged to register their furry friends with an entry ticket priced at $50. Attendees will enjoy celebrity appearances from the Seeing Eye Puppy Club, the Bernards High School Madrigals Choir, and a barking auction. Following the parade, participants can showcase their Ugly Christmas Sweaters for a chance to win exciting prizes. Refreshments, including the popular Sip-n-Swirl, will be available for all attendees. Funds raised will be put towards classroom grants for teachers and district-wide initiatives, enriching the educational experience for all students.
