Planning Ahead: A Community Education Session on Understanding Home Care and Long-Term Care
Caring for an aging loved one often raises questions families don’t know how, or when, to ask. This community education presentation, led by OneCare Harmony Home Health Care and the Knights of Columbus 2248, will provide clear, practical information to help families feel more informed and prepared. The session will cover the basics of home care and long-term care, and also learn about common signs that a loved one may need help.
The session will briefly discuss long-term care and long-term care insurance, and there will be time to answer related questions. The presentation will also include guidance on why preparation is key.
The evening will conclude with an overview of the Knights of Columbus, including its mission, benefits of membership, and opportunities for service within the community.
This session is educational in nature, with time for questions throughout. Attendees are encouraged to come listen, learn, and gather information at their own pace.
