Whitehouse Wind Symphony to Present Free Concert in Somerville
The Whitehouse Wind Symphony will give a free concert on Saturday, April 5th at 3pm inside Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Somerville. The program will will feature various stylistic selections such as “Danzas Cubanas” by Robert Sheldon, an arrangement of John Williams’ “The Cowboys”, “Variations on a Korean Folk Song” by James Barnes Chance, as well as marches such as “Brighton Beach” by William P. Latham. Donations will be accepted. In the event of dangerous travel conditions or public health emergency, the announcement to cancel this concert will be made on the band’s website (whitehousewindsymphony.org) and social media (facebook.com/whitehousewind, instagram.com/whitehousewind).
