Summit Chorale's Spring Concert, Remembrances, closes out our WWII-themed season with songs of the Holocaust: "Ani Ma'amin", and "I Believe in the Sun" by New Jersey composer, Mark Miller.
We'll also be singing the finale of Mahler's Symphony No. 2, "The Resurrection", accompanied by a chamber instrumental ensemble, one of the most exhilarating and uplifting works ever composed.
This concert will culminate with Johannes Brahms's universal Ein Deutsches Requiem, sung in memory of all who were lost after the end of hostilities in the European theater during WWII.
Can't join us in person? No worries! Your advance ticket purchase includes access to a post-concert video. The video will be made available to all ticket purchasers within one week of the concert date, and you will be able to enjoy the concert in the comfort of your home.
This program has been proudly supported by a grant from The Summit Foundation .
