The Friends of Abraham Staats House are delighted to again present the annual “Tory Jack Day” program. The House will open for seating at 10:30AM. At 11AM: Our featured performer at this event for two decades, renowned historian and former National Park Service Interpretive Specialist, Joe Becton, gives a special presentation focused on Civil War General Benjamin Butler; his fascinating career and influence on race relations and treatment of African Americans during this time of national upheaval. Seating is limited, advance reservations encouraged. After his program, enjoy light refreshments and tour the historic Abraham Staats and new exhibits until House until close at 1:30PM.
