    11/10/2023 11:00 AM 11/10/2023 05:00 PM America/Anguilla American Red Cross Blood Drive in Honor of Heather and Richard Bumbarger Married couple Heather and Richard Bumbarger’s lives changed this summer when they were diagnosed with cancer within a few weeks of each other. Heather, a longtime blood donor and Juniata College employee, was diagnosed with breast cancer and Richard is battling leukemia. Richard’s treatment has been impacted by the national blood shortage; there have been several instances where the blood and platelets he needed were not available. Heather’s Juniata College colleagues are hosting this blood drive to support the Bumbargers and help others who are in need of lifesaving blood.
