Historic Craven Hall Brings Local History to Life

Would you like to meet some of the men and women who helped the American cause during the Revolution and the War of 1812 men who witness the development of the transportation revolution with the steam age and women who took an early stand for women's rights?You will have an opportunity to spend an evening with these individuals on Friday, September 21st from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. as the Craven Hall Historical Society, Inc. presents an historical first-person interpretation program showcasing men and women who lived in the Warminster Township area (Rain date: September 23rd 7 to 9 pm)Their story will come live in various settings - The Craven Hall Mansion House, The Craven/Vansant Burying Ground and John Fitch's workshop. come and meet Dr. William Bachelor, a surgeon at the Battle of Saratoga John Fitch, Steamboat Inventor, Cobe Scout, intimate friend of John Fitch and Thoms Paine General Harmon Vantant, an active participant in the War of 1812, and the VanSant sisters among others.Advanced pre-paid reservations (by September 15th) are required for this program - $10 for an adult or $15 for a family up to four persons. The audience is for 12 years & older.
