3rd Annual Brothers Keepers MC 39th Chapter Poker Run
We are the Brother’s Keepers Motorcycle Club (BKMC) Chapter 39 Buchanan Trail; a group of local firefighters who ride together and support the community. Our club is nationally recognized with chapters across the country. The main goal of Brother’s Keepers is to support charities, promote safety, increase awareness of motorcycles, and improve the image of “bikers”.
Our brotherhood is all about community. We recently met a local family whose little girl, Adley, is battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Just short of her 2nd birthday, the family received the official diagnosis. This very rare cancer is a type of blood cancer that affects white blood cells. Cancer starts in the bone marrow, the spongy tissue inside the bones where blood cells are produced.
On September 24th, 2022, we will be holding our 3rd Annual Poker Run to raise support for the family and help shoulder the burden of Adley’s ongoing treatment plan. This little fighter is currently in the middle of chemotherapy, while also enduring multiple procedures.
Registration begins at 10am (breakfast available for purchase at Crackers), kickstands up with ride beginning at 12pm and then concluding back at Crackers where the final draw as well as raffle winners will happen. Single riders $10, rider with passenger $20. If you don’t have a bike, we love to see you back at crackers around 5pm to hangout and check out our raffles.
