Arianna String Quartet in Concert on April 27, 4:00 PM, at Zion Lutheran Church, Harvester, MO
Music at Zion will conclude its concert season with St. Louis’ very own Arianna String Quartet on Sunday, April 27, at 4:00 PM. The Performance Strings from Zion Lutheran School have been invited to open the concert with a few pieces of their own.
Hailed for their outstanding musicianship, the Arianna String Quartet, formed in 1992, has established itself as one of America's finest chamber ensembles. They have appeared throughout North America, in South America, Europe, Asia, and South Africa. The members of the Arianna String Quartet serve on the faculty at the University of Missouri-St. Louis as professors of violin, viola, and cello. Their performances have been praised for “tonal warmth, fastidious balance and expressive vitality” (Chicago Tribune) and “emotional commitment and fluent virtuosity,” (Pretoria News, South Africa).
