Beer for Bricks: Tornado Relief Fundraiser
This is a neighbor-created and led fundraiser, as well as community event. Folks will make a donation to get on the door list and they'll need to bring a local six pack of beer. At the event, attendees will be welcome to drop off their chosen beers for the swap, get some free samples from 2nd Shift who generously donated kegs for the sampling, and then head to view our "mini market" of local raffle offerings. Raffle tickets are $2 each, payments are virtual and head straight to the Brick Fund. There are no other asks for donations during the event. This is a speedy fundraiser, lasting just two hours, and with outsized impact- 100% of the money goes to the work. The Beer Swap will happen during the 2nd hour of the event, folks will be given new cardboard beer carriers donated by a local menu artist, Studio Artichoke. Folks will then be able to mix and match custom create a six pack from their neighbor's most beloved brews. The last event will be the raffle winners, local business from Side Project to Boda Clay, have donated really fun baskets. Also, thank you Wild Carrot for donating your space for the evening! We will also be offering some NA options from Flirt, a new local functional beverage.
