It's a Wonderful Life on Ice
Professional and national level competitive skaters from across the US will join local skaters to perform an abbreviated adaptation, perfect for all ages, of It's a Wonderful Life - The Musical. Based on the beloved 1946 film, the performance follows George Bailey's life from his childhood dreams to his midlife disappointments and beyond, as we all take a journey to discover whether his life has mattered at all. This adaptation breathes musical life into a familiar story, while retaining the warmth, humor, and emotions of the original.
It's a Wonderful Life On Ice is a tribute to Noelle Kennedy, from her daughter, Amanda Kennedy. Noelle was a wonderful mother and one of the biggest figure skating fans in St. Louis! The movie, "It's a Wonderful Life" was Noelle's favorite movie of all time. Attendees will be asked to support St. Louis children's homes with "pay as you wish" tickets in her honor.
