Midwest Metalsmiths Art Show

The Annual Midwest Metalsmiths Art Show returns this fall, celebrating 30 years as the Midwest’s leading metalsmithing organization. This milestone year brings together the region’s most talented metalsmith and jewelry artists for a weekend of creativity, craftsmanship, and community. As the largest gathering of metalsmith artists in the St. Louis area, this juried show will feature more than 20 artists showcasing their original, handmade creations. Dates & Times • Friday, October 17th: 12 noon – 7 pm • Saturday, October 18th: 10 am – 4 pm Location First Congregational Church of Webster Groves 10 W Lockwood Ave, Webster Groves, MO 63119 Among this year’s featured artists is Kelly Miller, a nationally recognized jewelry designer who was a finalist on Jewelry Television’s Rockstar Designer reality show in 2015. Her innovative designs captivated audiences on national TV, and she later shared her craft on JTV’s popular program Jewel School. Visitors will have the rare chance to meet Kelly in person, explore her work, and hear the stories behind her bold and imaginative pieces. The show will also feature the return of Kim Stahl, the first female contestant on the hit TV series Forged in Fire, alongside a diverse group of metalsmiths presenting everything from timeless fine jewelry to expressive, contemporary art jewelry, handcrafted knives, and sculptural works. Adding to the excitement, $50 gift drawings will be held each day—Friday at 6 pm and Saturday at 3 pm—offering attendees a chance to take home one of the exquisite creations on display. “This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate 30 years of fostering metalsmithing in the Midwest,” said Cindy Howenstein, Event Organizer. “Our annual show has become a place where artists and the community connect, share stories, and celebrate craftsmanship. We’re proud of the legacy we’ve built and excited to showcase both long-time members and fresh new talent.” “Being part of Midwest Metalsmiths allows me to share my journey and passion for jewelry with a supportive community,” added Kelly Miller. “From competing on national television to creating one-of-a-kind pieces in my studio, every step has been about pushing creativity forward. I’m thrilled to showcase my work at this year’s show.” For more information, visit the Midwest Metalsmiths website - https://www.midwest-metalsmiths.org/ Scholarship Fundraising Auction This year’s celebration also includes the Midwest Metalsmiths Scholarship Fundraising Auction, supporting the next generation of artists. The online auction kicks off October 4, 2025, at noon, and concludes with final bidding in person on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. during the art show. Attendees and online participants can bid on one-of-a-kind treasures created by member artists, with every bid helping fund scholarships for emerging metalsmiths.
