Union Avenue Opera opens its 2026 Festival Season with Fiddler on the Roof, a deeply human story of family, faith, and resilience in the face of change. In the tight-knit village of Anatevka, Tevye, a devoted father and humble milkman, wrestles with preserving cherished traditions as his daughters challenge expectations and follow their hearts. Featuring iconic songs such as “Tradition,” “If I Were a Rich Man,” and “Sunrise, Sunset,” this beloved classic blends warmth, humor, and poignancy with enduring relevance.

All performances take place at Union Avenue Opera’s home in Union Avenue Christian Church, 733 N. Union Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63108. Free parking is available behind the venue, with additional street parking nearby.
