April 5th is the 200th anniversary of the birth of Moses Dickson - abolitionist, Black activist, leader, and organizer. In 1903, Father Dickson Cemetery opened, named for the noted leader. Dr. Jeffrey Smith, Professor Emeritus of History at Lindenwood University will discuss the significance of Dickson and the African American burial ground which bears his name.
