This Is Casually Happening with headliner JB Buchanan
Looking for a night of holiday fun filled with laughs? On Wednesday, December 13th, the comedy showcase This Is Casually Happening will be having its final showcase of the 2023 Season at The Golden Hoosier. The showcase was recently recognized in St. Louis Magazine for their November 2023 Issue alongside with other local showcases. Doors will open at 7pm, with the show beginning at 7:30pm.
Headlining will be St. Louis based comedian JB Buchanan, who has been touring with comedian Samuel Comroe from America’s Got Talent. He also performs regularly at comedy clubs such as Funny Bone St. Louis and St. Charles, Helium Comedy Club St. Louis, and was recently in the Flyover Comedy Festival.
The showcase will also feature St. Louis comedians Meredith Hopping, Jake Beckman, and Mollie Amburgey. Hopping previously performed in This Is Casually Happening last year at The Golden Hoosier and also produces her own comedy showcase, The Future Is Female, at The Heavy Anchor in the Bevo District. Beckman regularly performs at Funny Bone St. Louis and St. Charles, in addition to independent venues in St. Louis.
Amburgey is the producer of the show and host of the podcast Casually Mollie, which includes interviews with comedians and entertainers both locally and around the country. She also performs regularly in the St. Louis area and the Midwest. You may have heard her interviewed on the Big 550 KTRS and St. Louis On The Air with St. Louis Public Radio when discussing St. Louis Comedy!
