Jefferson County Amateur Radio Club (JCARC) ARRL Field Day 2026 Join the Jefferson County Amateur Radio Club (JCARC) for ARRL Field Day 2026, the premier annual event in amateur radio where operators across North America demonstrate emergency communications capabilities, technical skills, and the fun of making contacts around the world. Field Day combines public service, emergency preparedness, education, and friendly competition. Club members will operate portable radio stations powered by temporary antennas and alternative power sources while making contacts with other amateur radio operators nationwide. Visitors will have the opportunity to see amateur radio in action, learn about emergency communications, and even get on the air under the supervision of a licensed operator. Whether you are a licensed amateur radio operator, interested in earning your license, or simply curious about radio communications, Field Day offers something for everyone. Families are welcome, and activities will include station demonstrations, antenna displays, fellowship, food, and opportunities to learn about the many facets of amateur radio.
