Business Tips for Success: Etiquette

This workshop will discuss business etiquette, which entails, always answering your emails promptly, greeting everyone with kindness, speaking clearly so they can understand you, and following up on projects promptly. The three R’s in etiquette are: Recognition, Respect and Response. The first rule of etiquette is treat others as you would like to be treated. First impressions are the most important aspect of business etiquette and you can ensure a good first impression by being respectful of peoples' time and to be on time. We will go into more detail as we work through what I would call a dying art in the business world and when you apply these simple changes, you will be noticed, trusted and appreciated not to mention, find greater success. Trust me, your clients, team members and bosses will notice. Vicki Kirchoff A bit about me, I grew up in the south, actually attended etiquette classes and had a southern mother and grandmother. I also attended Texas Christian University. I have used what I learned and it has helped me build several businesses, working with the Chase Park Plaza, the St. Louis Symphony and currently, I am the managing director of the Barnett on Washington. I raised three children who would tell you, manners, presentation and politeness will go a long way, in life and business, which was always a part of their lives as well as mine. It works. Registration Information: Upon registering you will receive a confirmation email with the SCORE Zoom link to attend. You do not need a Zoom account to participate. Please connect 5 minutes in advance to be sure you have a good connection. The workshop begins promptly at 11AM and concludes by 12PM.
