CareSTL Health Project O: Opioid Awareness 5K Walk/Run
Join us for the 5th annual CareSTL Health Opioid Awareness Walk/Run! This event aims to raise awareness and visibility of resources and services offered in the community for individuals and families affected by the Opioid Epidemic.
The walk/run will take place in Forest Park on the Upper Muny Parking Lot on Saturday, August 3rd. This year, the race will start at 7:30 am to beat the heat with opening ceremonies beginning at 7:00am. Participants can choose between a 5K or a 1-mile walk/run. No pressure!
This year's 5K will be timed, so whether you aim to run fast or take a casual stroll, you'll get to know how long it took to complete the course.
At packet pick up, you will receive a race bib with a timing chip (provided by our timing and event management partner Big River Race Management) that you must wear during the race to get your time! 1 Milers will also receive a bib, but it will not have a timing chip on it.
