Singer/Songwriter Showcase - Alex Huck's "No Covers" w/ special guests Melissa Pupillo and Matt Abel
In collaboration with Spine Bookstore & Café, Alex Huck is spearheading “No Covers," a showcase that highlights local artists who create ORIGINAL content.

"I’m back with some more songwriters at Spine on April Fool’s.
Been quite the boys club so far. So, I am changing it up.
I began asking around town for names of some female singer/songwriters. The same name came up several times: Mel Pupillo. I haven’t had the pleasure of seeing Mel perform yet, but she comes with EXTREMELY high accolades from some others in the St. Louis music community.
"When I first heard Matt Abel, I was jealous. He’s got a voice that is seriously unreal, catchy tunes, and plays acoustic like I wish I could play. He’s also just a really, really kind person.
"Spine has beer, coffee, cocktails, speciality drinks, and NA options too!"
Alex Huck is a singer/songwriter from Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, who attempts to tell his own story and the stories of others through song.
