Our poetry nights are inclusive and supportive. A perfect place to read for the first time, try new material, experiment, or share your published work.
Featured Poet: Cierra Lowe. Cierra was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Webster University with a BA in philosophy, and again from UMSL with a BSN. Today, she is a wife, mother, and an ER nurse. The Horse and the Water, her first full-length collection of poetry and prose, was published in 2017. Her second collection, Darken Your Door, is currently in the works.
Our host will start the evening off with a few pieces of her work then the featured poet will have an opening set and then the open mic begins until near the end of the evening where we close out with another set from the featured poet.
