Creek Walk
Did you know that our waterways are home to their own unique ecological communities? Join us at Sandy Creek to learn about the macroinvertebrate critters that call the creek home! Participants should meet at the bridge. From there, an interpreter will lead the group along the creek. Participants will learn how to take biological samples and will get to wade through the creek with nets and other equipment. Be sure to wear shoes and clothing that you are comfortable getting wet.
This program is free and open to all ages; however, space is limited, and registration is required. To register, call the site interpreter at 636-215-9784.
