Lafayette Older Adult Program Day Trip
Lafayette Older Adult Program Day Trip is at 8 a.m. on Sept. 26 at St. Louis' own "Little Italy"
The day will begin with pick-up at the North Pointe Aquatic Center parking lot in Ballwin, 335
Holloway Rd. We will travel by bus to The Hill to pick up Salvatore, our guide to all things pertaining to The Hill.
Some highlights include stops at St. Ambrose, Herbaria Soap (for a demo & sample, and the new
Neighborhood Hill Center with historical displays. We will taste bread from Marconi Bakery, and sample Gelato.
Our Italian lunch will be at Milo's Tavern, which is a Bocce hotspot. There we will learn about Bocce (pronounced bow-chee) and get to play if you like.
The day will wrap-up with a little time to explore neighborhood bakeries, delis, and markets.
Wear comfy walking shoes. There will be some walking involved, as well as getting on-and-off the bus several times.
Sign up early, limited space. The cost is $90 per person, which covers transportation, tours, samples, and lunch. We will leave from the North Pointe Aquatic Center, the south portion of the lot, adjacent to the Ballwin Golf Course on Thursday, September 26 at 8:00 a.m. and return around 2:00 p.m.
