Juno's goal is to understand the origin and evolution of the giant planet Jupiter. The spacecraft's instruments are probing the upper atmosphere, mapping the planet's intense magnetic field, and studying the Great Red Spot, a hurricane-like storm larger than planet Earth. Professor Bagenal will present some research results and display images taken by Juno. Co-sponsored by the St. Louis Astronomical Society and the NASA Missouri Space Grant Consortium at Washington University.. Program also available via Zoom.
