Join the Left Bank Books Foundation and Left Bank Books as we welcome Chloe O. Davis back to St. Louis to celebrate her new book, The Queens' English: The Young Readers' Lgbtqia+ Dictionary of Lingo and Colloquial Phrases. Chloe grew up in St. Louis before going on to great things in the entertainment industry and is back in St. Louis to choreograph a show at the Muny! We are excited to discuss this YA adaptation described as a "playful, richly-illustrated visual dictionary is the perfect book for anyone who has ever wondered about the origin of phrases like "zaddy", the history of the word "queer", and the wonderfully diverse, wideranging histories that have contributed to LGBTQ+ culture and vocabulary."
