Gaby Deimeke: Music Photography Exhibit with Noah Ilbery: Moments of Imagination
Gaby Deimeke is a portrait and music photographer based in Austin, Texas. Her bold, color-saturated images of music artists include Ed Sheeran, J Balvin, Taylor Swift and Shawn Mendes. She is a cofounder of Crowdsurfer Magazine. Originally growing up on a farm in Auxvasse, Missouri, Deimeke picked up a camera to take to a concert at 12 years old and hasn't put it down since. Deimeke received a BA (’16) in Photography and Studio Art from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, and an MA in Fashion Photography from London College of Fashion in London.

Noah Ilbery (BA in Animation, ’19) is a computer graphics (CG) artist based in Maplewood, Missouri. His Moments of Imagination exhibit is a series of images that use a mixture of macro-photography and CG to make playful scenes out of otherwise mundane objects. This series is all about letting your mind play with what you see, taking a childlike approach to how we perceive the world.
