04/23/2023 02:00 PM 04/23/2023 04:00 PM America/Atikokan Kirkwood History Walks with Author Kathy Schrenk Join Kathy Schrenk, author of the new book, “Kirkwood: A Walk Through History,” to enjoy a tour through the Downtown West neighborhood of Kirkwood on April 23. The walk will start at the entrance to the aquatic center at Kirkwood Park and include a 190-year-old cemetery, an historic church, and classic residential architecture. You will also be able to purchase a copy of “Kirkwood: A Walk Through History”. The walk is approximately two miles and is appropriate for all ages. Dress for the weather, and don’t forget a sun hat, walking shoes, and a bottle of water. Walk will be rescheduled in case of extreme weather, including heavy rain or excessive heat.
