Kendrick Smith's World Music Festival Ensemble at Joe's Cafe!
The great saxophone player, Kendrick Smith, is bringing together a group of musicians from different parts of the world to come together around the subject of jazz music. He is inviting people to play music that has been influenced by jazz musicians in America to hear what their take on the music form sounds like. Expect a lot of variations in jazz interpretation as Kendrick directs this nuanced, collaborative effort.
There will be more details in time, but for now this is a "save the date and buy the ticket" place holder.
