Step behind the velvet curtain and into a dazzling world of sequins, stockings, and self-expression at Greenfich Theatre on August 29th, as a bold new generation of burlesque performers takes the stage for a one-night-only celebration of resistance, joy, and glittering defiance.
Inspired by the rebellious glamour of Cabaret, this unforgettable showcase mixes vintage flair with fresh talent, blending sultry solos and cheeky ensemble numbers into a spectacular evening where every shimmy tells a story. This is burlesque at its most empowering and theatrical, where rhinestones meet rebellion, and the stage becomes a sanctuary.
“More than just a striptease,” says Sugar Cyanide, producer of the show. “It’s a radical act of self-expression, a celebration of queerness, and a space where bodies, identities, and voices take up space unapologetically, under the spotlight and in full shimmer.”
