This Is Casually Happening: A Comedy Showcase
With versions of the showcase at The Golden Hoosier, STL Fringe Festival, Helium Comedy Club St. Louis, the Funny Bone St. Charles, it will now be coming to the historic Gaslight Theater. The show will be produced and hosted by Mollie Amburgey of The Casually Mollie Podcast. The show will have co-headliners Mychael Anthony and Angela Smith Winfrey.
As seen on Comedy Central and TMZ, Mychael Anthony has opened for comedians such as Michael Yo, Brad Williams, and D.L. Hughley. He has also performed in Los Angeles venues such as The Improv and The Ice House.
Angela Smith Winfrey is known for her performances at St. Louis’ own Flyover Comedy Festival. Smith Winfrey also featured in City Showcase: Comedy At The Fox last April 2021, a showcase at the historic Fox Theater produced by Chris Denman of MidCoast Media that featured some of the top comedians based in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mollie Amburgey is the host of the podcast Casually Mollie, which includes interviews with comedians and entertainers both locally and around the country. She also performs regularly in the St. Louis area and the Midwest. She has been interviewed on the Big 550 KTRS and St. Louis On The Air with St. Louis Public Radio.
