ROTARY CLUB OF ST LOUIS’ ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT
HITS THE LINKS AUGUST 28 IN FOREST PARK
(St Louis, MO) – June 17, 2024- Rotary Club of St Louis is hosting their Annual Charity Golf Tournament August 28 at the Norman K. Probstein Golf Course in Forest Park. The Golf Tournament is Rotary Club of St. Louis’ main fundraiser, helping the Club raise more than $500,000 over the past 13 years to help St. Louisians in need.
“Our Rotary Club hosts fundraisers throughout the year, then pool our resources & invest as a group so we can award grants to smaller St. Louis-area non-profits that are really making a difference. By working together, we all achieve greater impact,” said Rotary Club president, Dale Ruthsatz. “Fundraising for charities and assisting in charity service projects are just a couple of ways our Rotary Club supports the St. Louis community. We are always excited to welcome local business owners and executives as new Club members.”
All of the funds raised at the event are distributed among dozens of small St. Louis area charities via the Rotary Club’s annual Community Service Grant Awards at Missouri Athletic Club Downtown every June. Applications for Club grants are posted on the Club’s website in April.
The long-running Rotary Charity Golf Tournament, chaired by Club Golf Chair Doug Lorenz, begins with a lunch and ends with dinner and an awards reception. Businesses interested in Tournament sponsorships and donating to the event’s Silent Auction may contact Doug at [email protected]. For more details, go to: https://birdease.com/StlRotaryGolf2024
