Allegro: A St. Louis Choral Community presents Season of the Heart.
This winter holiday concert features Allegro's 90-voice chorus, directed by Merry Keller, sharing festive and joyful songs of the season. The concert, presented at First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood, 100 East Adams, Kirkwood at 3:00 pm, will be accompanied by Ron Bryant on piano, Steve Schenkel on bass, Dan Rubright on guitar, and Kevin Gianino on drums.
You will be sure to hear some of your seasonal favorites, whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, or simply delight in the coziness of winter nights with family and friends.
The title song, part of The Muppet Christmas Carol Medley by Paul Williams, says it perfectly: "It is the season of the heart, a special time of caring, the ways of love made clear." Bring family and friends for an afternoon of beautiful, heartfelt, and jubilant music!
Admission is free, however guests must register to reserve a seat!
Attendees are invited to make a donation of $20 per reservation as you are able. Your donations allow Allegro to continue its gift of music to the St. Louis community.
