The Weavers' Guild of St. Louis presents their 42nd Annual Weavers’ Guild Sale with forty talented fiber artists selling traditional items like handwoven kitchen towels, rugs, placemats and baskets. Our spinners & dyers offer handspun, hand-painted & hand-dyed yarns and roving - perfect for your own knitting and needle felting projects. Our wearable art includes one-of-a-kind hand-dyed silk scarves, handwoven garments & scarves, hand-felted hats and accessories, plus unique fiber jewelry. You'll also find distinctive fiber art for the home including handwoven tapestries, wall-pieces, fiber sculpture, and delightful holiday ornaments as well as perfect gift items like handmade cards, handwoven bookmarks, hand-felted soaps and pin cushions.
Look for daily demonstrations of time-honored fiber techniques like weaving, spinning, needle felting, knitting, basketmaking, and bobbin lace making.
Sponsored by the Weavers' Guild of St. Louis, a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization, the proceeds from the annual sale support scholarships for further education in the fiber arts. The event is FREE.
