Molina Healthcare of IL, SIHF Healthcare, & The Latino Roundtable partner to host Hispanic Festival
Molina Healthcare of Illinois is partnering with SIHF Healthcare and The Latino Roundtable of Southwestern Illinois to present a Hispanic Health Festival. The event will feature health screenings and community resources in addition to the distribution of 200 bags of food for families including items such as rice, tortillas, black beans, and more.
According to the Illinois Health Disparities Report, the Hispanic population is facing disproportionately high levels of heart disease mortality, cancer, obesity, and other indicators of health. Through this event, Molina hopes to provide residents with a fun, family wellness event to address some of these indicators as part of their mission to build stronger communities, one life at a time.
