Please join us on August 31st at 9:15 AM at Francis Park for this year's Gateway Cup Ride to Unite..
Ride to Unite is a free, family-friendly 5-mile ride on the Bommarito Audi West County Gateway Cup course around beautiful Francis Park in South St. Louis. The ride is great for anyone who wants to enjoy a leisurely ride and is designed for riders of all abilities, ages, and levels of expertise. The ride unites all cyclists, from athletes with disabilities using adaptive cycles, to children on mountain bikes, to recreational riders on road bikes, to pros on specialized racing bikes. Having everyone ride together creates an uplifting sense of community.
We're excited to bring participants several new features, including:
- Official ride T-shirts, click here to order by August 18 and pick up at the ride.
- Inspiring pre-ride comments by adapted athlete, Dave Cummings.
- More elite riders and more adaptive cyclists, including teams from Delta Gamma Center, Achilles St. Louis and Disabled Athletes Sports Association
- Gateway Cup racers serving as "Buddy" cyclists for riders - if you would like a buddy to accompany a rider, send an email to [email protected].
- Transportation of adapted cycles to the ride (limited, first come/first served). If you need assistance, call Sue Fleming at 314-629-8693 by August 26.
- Live commentating by former racing pro and official Gateway Cup Announcer, Frankie Andreu
