Women's History Month Screening with Bruiser Queen
Suzi Quatro is one of the unsung heroes of rock and roll. Beginning in the early 1970s she was one of the first women to play her own instrument, front her own band and write her own songs. Her biggest success in the United States came when she starred as Leather Tuscadero on Happy Days but around the world she has been a start for half a century. Come celebrate Suzi Quatro and her documentary Suzi Q which traces her life in rock and roll and beyond. Following the screening Bruiser Queen will take stage (or library floor) and play some great music. Come and celebrate Women's History Month with rock and roll from near and far.
