Hops & Heroes
Beer enthusiasts and supporters of our nation’s veterans are invited Saturday, August 1st, 2026 to Hops & Heroes, a beer tasting fundraiser with all proceeds benefiting Greater St. Louis Honor Flights. The event will take place from 12pm to 4pm at the Edwardsville Moose Lodge at 7371 Marine Rd, Edwardsville, IL 62025.
The event features tastings from local breweries that have generously donated their beer to help raise funds for Honor Flight missions, which provide veterans with an all-expenses paid trip to Washington D.C., to visit the memorials dedicated to their service. Guests will enjoy an afternoon of exceptional craft beer, live music, food, raffles, and the opportunity to learn more about the incredible impact Greater St. Louis Honor Flights has on local veterans.
This will be the eighth year the Hops & Heroes event has taken place. The event has raised over $175,000 for Greater St. Louis Honor Flights, and hopes to surpass $200,000 in total this year! The event organizers summed it best stating, “Hops & Heroes is a chance for our community to enjoy great local craft beer while giving back to the men and women who served our country. Thanks to the generosity of our local breweries and sponsors, every ticket sold helps us give another veteran the opportunity to experience the memorials built in recognition of their service and sacrifice.”
